The sport of dog agility was started with a once-off class held at Crufts Dog Show in 1978 as a fun event and has grown into a well-established international sport with participation growing every year by leaps and bounds world-wide. Highway Agility Club is a KUSA-affiliated dog agility and dog jumping club catering for those handlers who live from the Highway area all the way to the Natal Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal. Our home base is at Summerveld Country Lodge, where we hold open and championship agility and dog jumping shows and fun events for our members and aim to provide a vibrant and friendly social and competition environment for canines and humans alike. We welcome newcomers and visitors to join us, dogs of any breed and handlers of any shape, size and age are able to participate.
